22 Aug 13. The Service Guard under the command of Cadet C. Green supports Freshmen Open House with a twelve member team. Cadets served as guides and interpreters, and assisted teaches and administratiors with set up.

30 Aug 13. Color Guard under the command of C/CSM Lillian Jarmon presented the Colors at the Harnett Central VS Western Harnett Game. The Service Guard consisting of twelve cadets led by Cadet Cathleen Green provided crowd control and traffic control support for the game.

6 Sep 13. Color Guard under the command of C/CSM Lillian Jarmon presented the Colors at the Harnett Central VS Triton Game. Color Guard team members consisted of Cadets A. Justice, Z. Hering, and J. Brantley. The Service Guard consisting of fifteen cadets led by Cadet Cathleen Green provided crowd control and traffic control support for the game.

11 Sep 13. Cadet Abigail Cruz, Maria Ventura and Aymara Agote produced a 911 memorial display for the school in the Commons, and Cadet Cruz conducted the school wide 911 memorial ceremony.

13 Sep 13. The Color Guard under the command of Cadet Lillian Jarmon presented the Colors at the Lillington Shawtown Elementary School 911 Observance Ceremony.

14 Sep 13. Cadet Cathleen Green leads a team of ten Service Guard members in support of the Angier Chamber of Commerce set up of the Annual Crepe Myrtle Festival. The Color Guard presented the Colors for the event. During the afternoon of 14 Sep 14, twenty five cadets participated in Campbell [[#|University Military]]
Appreciation Day.

17 Sep 13. The Color Guard presents the Colors at North Harnett Primary School Patriotism Day. Team members are A. Justice, L Jarmon, Z. Hering, and J. Brantley.

21 Sep 13. Cadet Austin Copeland and Cadet Cathleen Green coordinated the activities of twenty Service Guard Team members working in shifts to support the Lillington Chamber of Commerce set up, operation and tear down of the Lillington Fall Festival. Color Guard presented the Colors.

4 Oct 13. Color Guard presented the colors at Harnett Central VS South East Raleigh [[#|football]] game. The Service Guard with twelve members provided traffic and crowd control support.
9 Oct 13. Rifle Team participates in Fred T. Foard Postal Rifle [[#|Match]]. The Team places second in the competition.

11 Oct 13. Cadet G. Pineda with cadet assistants present the Cadet Corps Battalion Banner for Home Coming. The Color Guard presents the Colors at the Harnett Central VS Knightdale [[#|football]] game. The Service Guard with fifteen members provided traffic and crowd control for the game. The Commander of the Service Guard coordinated and managed select cadets participating in the [[#|presentation]] of the Homecoming Court and the crowning of the new Ms. Homecoming.

19 Oct 13. Raider, Rifle, Drill and Color Guard teams particpate in Southern Lee Tri meet. Raider Team earns 1st place in Rope Bridging, Rifle Team wins overall 1st place in Rifle competition and the Drill Team placed in exhibition drill.

24 Oct 13. Service Guard supports set up for Senior Games.

26 Oct 13. Raider and Drill Teams compete in Cleveland dual meet. The Raider Team earns a first place trophy in the [[#|logistic]] relay, rope bridging and tug of war and was the overall [[#|winner]] of the Raider Challenge event.

4 Nov 13. Cadet Battalion completes Battalion sponsored Veterans Day Poster and Essay contest. Cadet Hunter Valentine is selected the [[#|winner]] of the Poster Contest and Cadet Hunter Cockman is selected the winner of the Essay Contest.

6 Nov 13. The Trojan Battalion hosted its tenth annual Veterans Day Program for the school. The guest speaker was Colonel Anita Massey. The program was hosted and narrated by the Battalion Commander (H. Valentine). Other cadets with speaking roles on the program were Cadets A. Carmichael, C. Green, B. Ballentine and A. McDougald. Cadet G. Pineda and D. Woods sung a duet entitle American Solider. The Color Guard presented the Colors. Select Cadets from the Raider Team presented the Service Flag for each military branch of the service honored. The school chorus and band participated in the program. Select cadets within the battalion adopted veterans on the school and learned about their experience in the military and provided a token of their appreciation to that veteran for their service to the country.

9 Nov 13. Drill Team participates in drill competition sponsored by Triton High School. The team earned a third place finish. Raider and Rifle Teams supported and participated in the second annual Harnett County Veterans of Foreign Wars 5 Kilometer Run/Walk Race. Cadet U. Hernandez and Cadet N. Worden both placed in the event.

11 Nov 13. Service Guard, Color Guard and Raider Teams particpate in Harnett County Veterans annual Veterans Day Ceremony at Veterans Park during the morning hours. The teams present the Colors, the Service Flags, Honor Guards for monuments, and ushers for the ceremony, and assisted with set up and tear down.

11 Nov 13. The Cadet Battalion participated in the annual Harnett County Veterans Day Program during the afternoon hours.

12 Nov 13. The Color Guard presented the Colors at the Lillington Shawtown Elementary School Veterans Day Program.

13-14 Nov 13. All Rifle Team members competed in the JROTC national postal match.

16 Nov 13. The JROTC Raider and Drill Teams competed in the Overhills Drill and Raider Team competition. The Raider Team earned a trophy in Rope Bridging and the Knot Tying Relay.

19 Nov 13. The JROTC Rifle Team competed in the Buckingham Postal Match.

21 Nov 13. The JROTC Rifle Team competed in the Lumberton Southeastern Regional Rifle Match. The Team earned a fourth place finish trophy.

22 Nov 13. The Service Guard supported the school's Career Fair Day as guides and assistants to presenters. The team also assisted with the tear down and clean up of the Gym where the activity was held.

3 Dec 13. Color Guard presents the Colors at the Harnett County Sheriff program to honor a member of their profession conducted at the school.

7 Dec 13. Cadet Battalion participated in the annual Angier Christmas Parade.

14 Dec 13. Cadet Battalion participated in the annual Lillington Christmas Parade.

16 Dec 13. Rifle Team competes in Sydney Lanier Postal Rifle Match.

20 Dec 13. Sixty cadets participate in an educational field trip to Wilmington, NC. Cadets explored the battleship USS North Carolina, learned about the battle for Fort Fisher during the Civil War at Fort Fisher and toured the North Carolina Aquarium.

3 Feb 14. Four Cadets participated in the JROTC Academic Challenge Bowl.

10 Feb 14. Color Guard presented the Colors at the Black History Program.

1 March 14. Drill, Color Guard and Rifle Teams competed in the Lee Senior High School JROTC Annual Tri Meet. The Drill Team earned a 1st place trophy in Platoon Armed Drill with Cadet Zachary Hering as the Platoon Leader. The Rifle Team earned a 2nd place finish with Cadet Carmichael and Cadet C. Elvira earning individual awards.

8 March 14. The Battalion hosted its 9th Annual Raider Team competition and 3rd Annual Rifle Team competition. Twenty teams participated in the Raider team competition. the Trojan Battalion had two competing Raider Teams ( Alpha and Bravo). Our Raider Team Alpha earned an overall 2nd place finish in the competition. The Rifle Team finish second in the rifle match.

21 march 14. Cadet Challenge completed for the Battalion. Cadet Valentine earned the top score for males and Cadet N. Worden earned the top score for females.

22 March 14. The Raider Team competed in competition at Cleveland High School with two teams. Raider Team Alpha earned 1st place in Rope Bridging. Team Bravo led by Cadet Edwin Adams and consisting of one cadet each from Parkland Magnate, Cleveland and West Johnston JROTC units earned a 2nd place on the Logistic Relay and the Litter Carry.

29 March 14. The first of two spring car washes was conducted with good participation and great success.

26 April 14. The Battalion hosted its 19th Annual Military Ball at the Fort Bragg Club. The Guest Speaker was Senator Colonel Retired Ronald Rabin. Over 175 guest and cadets were in attendance.

7 May 14. Service Guard supported spring Senior Games for graduating seniors by assisting with the set up for the event.

8 May 14. Forty Five cadets participated in a field trip to Washington, DC. The cadets stayed at the Gateway Inn Air Force Lodging on Joint Base Anacostia Bollings. The Cadets received guided tours at the Capital Building and the Kennedy Center. The Cadets visited Arlington National Cemetery, conducted a walking tour of the National Mall and visited the Air and Space Museum.

24 May 14. Cadet Battalion conducted the second spring car wash with good success.

26 May 14. Service Guard, Raider, Rifle and Color Guard Teams support and performed at the Harnett County Veterans Memorial Day ceremony. Raider Team assisted with set up and tear down for the event. Service Guard served as ushers. The Color Guard presented the Colors and the Laying of the Wreath. All teams conducted a display/demonstration of their capabilities after the ceremony, and the battalion set up an information booth on our JROTC unit.

7 June 14. The Service Guard and Color Guard supported the Angier Chamber of Commerce in hosting the Angier Bike Festival. the Service Guard set up equipment needed to support the event and assisted vendors with their set up. The Color Guard presented the Colors.

8-13 June 14. Cadet Michael Norton attended and successfully completed American Legion State Trooper Camp.

14 June 14. The Color Guard presented the Colors at the graduation ceremony for the school at Campbell University.

17-23 Jun 14. Seven Cadets participated in JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge Camp at Fort Jackson, SC. All Cadets completed the training.

22-28 June 14. Cadet W. Hayes attended and completed American Legion Boys State.

17-20 July 14. Cadets Martindale and Gorman attended Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge.
