22 Aug 14. Color Guard lead by Cadet Catlin Perry and and Service Guard lead by Cadet Abigail Cruz provided support for Trojans VS Apex Football game.

11 Sep 14. Cadet Tiffany Smith and Cadet Coral Quintana developed 911 memorial poster for display in the school. Cadet Abigail Cruz coordinated and lead the school wide memorial ceremony for 911 victims.

12 Sep 14. Color Guard presented the Colors and Service Guard provided traffic and crowd control in support of Trojans vs Overhills football game.

13 Sep 14. Service Guard under the command of Cadet Abigail Cruz provided support to the Angier Chamber of Commerce for the set up of the Angier Annual Crepe Myrtle Festival. The Color Guard led by Cadet Catlin Perry presented the Colors.

20 Sep 14. Service Guard with twenty cadets participating assisted the Lillington Chamber of Commerce with the set up and operation of the Lillington Fall Festival. The Color Guard presented the Colors.

26 Sep 14. Service Guard provided traffic and crowd control at the Trojans vs Clayton football game. The Color Guard presented the Colors.

1 Oct 14. Rifle Team commanded by Cadet James Parks hosted training for Cleveland JROTC Rifle Team.

4 Oct 14. Cadet Corps conducted Fall Car Wash with thirty cadets participating in shifts resulting in outstanding success.

17 Oct 14. Color Guard presented the Colors for the home football game with Garner and the Service Guard conducted crowd and traffic control.

18 Oct 14. The Rifle, Raider and Drill Teams participated in Southern Lee Tri Meet.

21 Oct 14. The Service Guard provided support for the set up of the fall Senior Games for the school.

25 Oct 14. The Drill Team participated in the Cleveland Drill Meet. The following commanders did a very good job: Catlin Perry, Stephanie Pagani, Zachary Hering and Thomas Priest

31 Oct 14. Color Guard presented the Colors at the pep rally for Homecoming.

31 Oct 14. Color Guard presented the Colors at the Homecoming foot ball game against East Wake. The Service Guard conducted crowd and traffic control for the game. The Service Guard also provided ushers and escorts for the half time ceremony.

31 Oct 14. Cadet Battalion completed annual Brochure Sale with record setting performance. The performer was again Cadet Kevin Gorman. Cadet Eric Schachter also turned in a notable performance. The top company was Alpha.

1 Nov 14. Thirty cadets participated in the Campbell University Military Appreciation Day.

1 Nov 14. Cadet Abigail Cruz prepared bulletin board display commemorating veterans in the cafeteria. Later on in the month she prepared the board commemorating Thanksgiving.

5 Nov 14. Battalion JLAB Teams compete in Level I competition. Battalion Academic Team lead by Cadet William McCormick advances to Level II. Other members of this team were: Savon Lynch, Chonice Brown, Macy Carroll and Ramon Sanchez

6 Nov 14. Battalion conducted annual Veterans Salute Program for the school assembly. The guest speaker was CSM (Retired). This year marked the incorporation of a flag folding ceremony that resulted in more cadet participation on the program. A special presentation was made to Cadet David Griffith and his family in honor of Major Sam Griffith, David's brother,who was killed in combat action in Afghanistan. The Battalion Commander also presented awards to the winners of the Veterans Day Poster and Essay contest, Cadet Coral Quintanna and Cadet David Griffith respectively.

7 Nov 14. Color Guard commanded by Cadet Catlin Perry presented the Colors at the Harnett County Veterans Stand Down Program in Dunn, NC.

8 Nov 14. Colors presented at the annual Harnett County Veterans 5 Kilometer Run/Walk in Lillington by Cadet Weston Hayes, Spencer Buzzard, Deklan Worden, and Michael Norton. Elements of the Rifle team commanded by Cadet James Parks support this event, while other members of the Rifle Team and the entire Raider Team participated in the 5 kilometer run/walk.

8 Nov 14. The Drill Team participated in the Triton Drill Meet.

11 Nov 14. Raider Team provided support for the set up of the Harnett County Veterans Day Ceremony at Veterans Park. The Raiders provided the Color Guard for the event under the command of Cadet Weston Hayes. Elements of the Raider Team were the flag bearers for the Service Flags. The Service Guard with fifteen cadets under the command of Cadet Abigail Cruz provided usher and honor guard support.

11 Nov 14. Cadet Battalion participated in annual Harnett County Veterans Day Parade in Lillington.

12 Nov 14. Color Guard under the Command of Cadet Catlin Perry participated in the parade and ceremony honoring veterans at Lillington Shawtown Elementary School.

14 Nov 14. Select cadets provided support as escorts for the Ms. Harnett Central Pagent.

15 Nov 14. Raider and Rifle Team participated in Overhills Drill and Raider Competition.

21 Nov 14. Service Guard provided guides and support for the Career Fair at the school.

6 Dec 14. Battalion participation in Angier Christmas Parade was canceled due to rain.

13 Dec 14. Battalion participated in Lillington Christmas Parade.

15 Dec 14. Rifle team lead by Cadet James Parks participated in JROTC National Postal Match.

7 March 15. Drill, Raider and Rifle Teams competed in Lee County Tri Meet. All teams working together resulted on a second place overall finish.

14 March 15. The battalion hosted its annual Raider and Rifle Team competition with more than 20 Raider teams participating in adverse weather conditions. Harnett Central Rifle Team won the Rifle Match.

2-4 April 15. Select Cadets from the battalion conducted a field trip Gettysburg National Park and Hershey Park with 45 participating cadets.

25 April 15. The battalion hosted a 5 kilometer run walk event that was part of the world wide celebration of the 99th anniversary of JROTC. Cadet Norton lead the team of cadets who planned and coordinated the execution of the event. The team also did a superb job in coordinating community support of this event. Harnett County veterans played a significant role in providing guidance, logistical and personnel support.

2 May 15. The battalion hosted it's 20th annual Military Ball. Combined there was over two hundred cadets and guests in attendance.

4 May 15. Color Guard presents the Colors at Senior Awards Night for the school. The following cadets were honored for receiving ROTC scholarships: Cadet Hayes, Cadet Norton and Cadet Herring. Cadet Hayes received scholarships from the Harnett County Veterans and the Military Officers Association of America. Cadet Griffith also received funding to attend a military college.

8 May 15. The Service Guard under the command of Cadet Cruz provided support in the set up and tear down of equipment for Senior Games.


25 May 15. The Raider Team provided support to Harnett County Veterans in the set up of equipment for the annual County Memorial Day Program. The Color Guard presented the Colors and participated in the wreath laying ceremony. The Service Guard served as ushers and as honor guards on memorial established in the park.

6 June 15. The Service Guard provided support to the Angier Chamber of Commerce in the set up for the annual Bike Festival. The Color Guard presented the Colors.

13 June 15. The Color Guard presented the Colors at Graduation.

15-19 June 15. Cadet Elvira participated in American Legion Boys State.

17 June 15. Eleven cadets participate in JCLC training at Fort Jackson, SC, all passed.

21- 25 June 15. Graduated Cadet Hayes participated in American Legion Trooper Program.

23-26 June 15. Cadet Brown and Cadet Sessoms participated in the Freedom Foundation Summit at Valley Forge, PA. Cadets were sponsored by LTC (R) Andrew Drenkhan and the National Sojourners.
